Terry Fox Exhibition Hotel Package
The Royal BC Museum is currently hosting an exhibition on Terry Fox, one of Canada’s most courageous heroes.
Diagnosed of bone cancer at the young age of 18, Terry lost his right leg to the disease. Deeply affected, it inspired this young man from BC to raise funds for cancer research by initiating the “Marathon of Hope”, with the intent to run across Canada on a 5,300 kilometers (3290 miles) journey. Sadly Terry’s cancer returned and he was not able to complete the marathon, but his courage and determination inspired millions of Canadians, with his legacy continuing to this day.
